Frozen Tears

Post by Oceantide »

It is autumn.
Leaves pirouette.
Slowly drifting, dancing.
Twirling swirling lightly landing.

As we suffer.
Begging for mercy.
Silently screaming, writhing.
Twisting turning barely moving.

We are bound.
We are muted.
We are blinded.
Muffled senses.

The beauty scars us.
It sears our senses.
Imprinting color.
Blanketing suffering.

Oceantide.
Beautiful, evocative imagery.
Haunting echo of the beauty of autumn as metaphor for the sense of suffering felt.
All women are beautiful. Period.
I deserve better than survival.
