I feel dirty

I wish I could clean the filth from my skin but it’s underneath. There’s no way to burrow under my skin to find and remove the filth they’ve buried.

the filth and dirty feeling you are carrying is so real
but it is not yours
it belongs to your abusers
try to give it back to them
try to lay that burden down and walk away.
