I know this is old but I have only just ventured into this part of the forum... I read the riddle without looking to see if it had been answered and all I could think of was an hourglass... but I don't know how it would be different if it was thinner (not truly an hour but five minutes maybe?)... and sand can be blown by the wind... I don't know! I'm not good with riddles! I liked the candle guess - made sense. Confirmation of the answer would be great
