Hello, i’ve lurked around this website for awhile and just recently signed up to join the group. I have been reticent about posting, feeling as though once I do share (even minimally), my emotions will overtake me and I will spiral down the rabbit hole of depression. Just the thought of starting to communicate on this forum has caused my nightmares to worsen. I’m 52 and have been adversely affected throughout my life by my childhood. I view my life so far as having been wasted. The good news is that I am learning more about mediation, CBT, journaling… etc. to help me with my issues. Hello catmom,

I too have just found this group. I have visited many times when my emotions become incredibly overwhelming and even that doesn't explain how extreme they feel. I hope you find the many different forums to help you to express those thoughts you've had all these years. I'll be thinking of you and sending well wishes your way.

Hello, new to the site.not really used forums or chat rooms before so not sure where to start. But wanted to join because I need to talk to someone. I have been waiting for therapy but I am a waiting list and can not afford private therapy. Sorry if im not meant to mention that on here. Thanks for letting me join.
