I'd meant to say thank you for posting these, I went and found some of Tara Brach's guided meditations and there is a lovely one about just learning to be, where you are at the moment. It's a gentle meditation that just seems to bring about some inner space as it were, without triggering anything. So thank you. :)

dancingfish,
Three Tara Brach fans here! Who woulda thunk it! :)
I find a lot of her stuff too intense for where I'm at in my journey but have found a number of guided meditations that work for me as well.
I think my favourite is " Inner space-gateway to open awareness". Love doing it outside laying down on a day with a clear blue sky.
Glad you have found some of her stuff helpful too.

I'm continuing to find that mindfulness and self-compassion practices are the most helpful practices for me as I continue to heal.

I'm finding that these practices provide me with a Loving Parent to my wounded Inner Child. They allow me to stay present with my experience of contacting the frozen child in me and allow her to "voice" her feelings, especially the grief I split off from.

So grateful to have found these practices!
