Re: Linked words
Perhaps you could forgive us if we get it wrong sometimes? (I think one word alternatives or slight adaptations might be useful exceptions sometimes. Particularly when I'd like to keep posting but just can't think of any two word links!)
I'd just stopped playing the perpetual game threads for a bit though and hadn't seen this, and now... I'm stuck on linking "is".
Is anyone

oh, of course, I forgive you. I don't do things perfectly.
I just really love the challenge of the game as Booklover designed it!
But whatever, I don't really want to control other people.
anyone home (?)

Re: Linked words
It's a good point, there - thanks for the refresher. I'm finding it a bit tricky at the moment, nouns are easier!
Ah it's linked words formed in a certain way, Kokoschka! You take the last word of the previous posted pair, and use it as your first word for a new pair of linked words that you think of.
The linked words should be a common phrase or pairing, not a compound word (which can be tricky). So "wishing well", then "well meant", but not "wellbeing" or "wellness". It's a subtle one, this game! You can always join in using the power of a search engine though, no rules against that. I think! Sometimes I do if I want to join in but just can't think of something.
So, I think Chessgirl had "anyone else", and then I'm not sure if other posts were replies or observations... I'm just going to go with home as it's easiest.
