It's OK to Tell

Post by Lotus »

Hi,
I recently finished reading "It's OK to tell, A story of hope and recovery", by Lauren Book, copyright 2011 & published by Prospecta Press. ( I hope I included the necessary reference info.)

The It's OK to Tell book, talks about Lauren Book's abuse, why she felt she couldn't tell, information about working with her inner child, and so much more. Warning though, that her graphic details about abuse may be too much for some of us. You can skip over those parts. There are many books written by survivors and they have some real gems of insight, inspiration, and support in them.

Lauren's quote, "The strongest weapon against abuse is the truth".

Love,
Lotus
