This is inspired by something Fleur said about survival being so hard and perhaps that being why survivors - many of us - feel we never really got to be kids, to play, to be carefree....

We really believe strongly in play. We are trying to reclaim that which was stolen from us in our childhood. It is very healing for the kids inside and the bigs. I think laughter is the best medicine. And being able to play care-free is an amazing feeling when we get to do it. I will have to look up some of those books Beachlady...

I agree; it's so valuable and such a good positive thing to reclaim...
O. Fred Donaldson's stuff in particular is amazing, he has played with not only humans but even wolves and dolphins.
