Just Dropping In

Hey there lovely folks! I was just thinking of this place and you all and figured I would drop by.
Just for a little update, I'm finishing up my junior year at my dream school, and in all honesty, coming here was the best decision I ever made in my life. The whole college experience and dorm life is truly wonderful. It's so amazing, because I get to meet so many incredible people who are genuinely good, passionate, and excited for life.
It has been crazy busy because between this semester and last, I've tried out nearly every opportunity they offer. But they're all great thingys: student clubs, chapel ministries, missions, charity work, and households (they're like fraternities and sororities but faith-based and their commitments are focused around prayer). I work a few hours a week marketing the career office, and another few hours reporting the news for campus radio.
Next semester, I won't be so crazy. But I will be taking over as president of the largest student club which I'm very excited about. And my work is paying off, I think. Several employers in my field have told me they want me to work for them after I graduate which is such a blessing.
This summer, I'm going to see my siblings and dad for a couple weeks and then walk cross-country for a cause.
So. That's a little bit about what I've been up to these past 4 months or so hehe. The number one thing is I've found a home here, made a lot of close friends, and grown in my faith, all of which is why I came to this school. Hope all is going well for each of you! Sending smiles and happy thoughts to you each.
