Dreams

It came to me in a dream and it is as real as it seems
I can’t acknowledge the violence or the pain if I did I’d go insane
It’s like it didn’t happen to me but the pictures I can see
I was shocked and surprised to find out that I’d been s****zed
I could tell that it was real by the way it made me feel
But when I woke I wanted more but my thoughts I must ignore
I felt aroused and confused but these are feeling I wouldn’t choose
What I want is to feel the pain but instead I feel lots of shame
The harm I do I don’t understand but I obsess and I plan
I’ve tried to ignore them with all my might but I’ve had flashbacks since that night
