I had a go at some free verse poetry yesterday...
I've always struggled with free verse, but this came to me and it just felt 'right'.
A realisation
There came a day
when I realised
that staying silent
wasn't helping,
but instead,
being vulnerable
and speaking my truth
started the healing.
