there- i'm reading along. sorry things are rough with tula. hoping you find some relief in this difficult time <3
why shouldn't i live as God in a glowing canyon?
my life could be a fruit bowl with my hand in
stuck with arrows, tarred and feathered
in a tigers jaw, loving, living raw
i'll get my truce through open stare and steady open palms

kirchnercolors,
nice to see you!
Thanks, for your caring message.

Right now, things are looking up for Tula. Brushed her teeth 2x yesterday. They do respond well to it.
She's her usual fiercely playful self!

Hope you're getting some relief, too.

It's lovely that Tula is accommodating having her teeth brushed. Not every canine would agree to that, lol. Also good to hear she's raring to go!

Hoping your Saturday was restful and enjoyable with Tula. Perhaps I will run into you in chat tomorrow.

Yay on Tula being so amenable to you brushing her teeth. Ruby acts like we are attempting to perform major surgery on her if we try. Its exhausting and painful for everyone.

Hi, isurvivors!

Aargh. Got myself up after 7-8 hrs.of sleep. Interrupted sleep, but only 1x. once, I think. Hoping tonight will be easier to get to sleep earlier. Heavy sigh. So tired. I read that taking a short nap can help with insomnia. Heavy sigh.

Have to break through the wall of feeling the aloneness. It’s like concrete and weighing on me, and blocking my view. Thankful for you all, and for friends on FB, the few phone calls and texts, and at this moment, breath.

I think I’m going to surrender to radical acceptance right now. Feel the underlying sadnesss a bit, the weariness, the loneliness. I’m sure many in the world are feeling these.

Just listening to Berne Brown’s podcast, Unlocking Us. Brilliant title. ‘When we practice empathy with ourselves and others we create more empathy.’

Sleep. So wish it wasn't something that had to be worked on.

I slept fitfully last night. Up and down a lot.

Radical acceptance. Good and bad. Recognizing and sitting with and being okay with where you are right now. I feel a great many of us are not at all where we want to be. Trapped and controlled by things out of our control. Yuck. We hate losing control.

I like the quote on creating more empathy. The world certainly needs more of that. We need more of that for ourselves too.

The whole sleep thing. Yeah.

I hope you can get enough to where you won't be so fatigued tomorrow, there.

My heart goes out to you about the loneliness. I get it and I wish there was a surefire recipe I could pull out of a book or box for overcoming. An instant recipe would be best, if there was such a thing.

I hope the acceptance and Brene were helpful. And if not, that other tools come to light in the near future.

More sunlight and encouragement, for our friend there, please!

yup,
got awake at 2:20. It's now 4:06.
Got up yesterday at 7:30. No nap. Sleep by 11:30.

I want to break windows, throw things, step on assholes' heads.

I am moving ahead in my life. I'm not living in freaking loss land forever.
