Thank you very much Couragetoday for being here, sharing your thoughts. May you enjoy positive moments

I wriggled out of guiding any Bible study class yesterday. Took children's time for second service

Startled awake just before midnight, then slept again around 5 o'clock until lunchtime. Lots of pain so mostly lay down on or in bed. Oops - supposed to put out washing. Would have dried as it was breezy with some sunshine. Oh well... another time

Bye for now

Hi Fleur,

There is always another time for laundry. And never a shortage of it.

Hope the children’s time was positive and fufilling.

Wishing you a better night, with less pain and no startles.

Hello Couragetoday

Appreciate your thoughtfulness

Unfortunately, too many external noises, so insufficient quality slumber

Much caring

I hope restfull sleep comes to you soon. I used to sleep with 3M earplugs. They did a much better job than any other company I tried.

Thank you there, GrowingTree, for writing. Think your thoughts helped as I have had more sleep. Appreciate the comment re 3M earplugs - glad they worked for you GrowingTree

Saw pdoc yesterday, Tuesday, and we discussed triggers, procedures, and how I might be able to ask for a female staff member - be wonderful to have a 3D friend to go with. As it was, I took the liberty of imagining iSurvive family and that helped. The room was crowded with equipment so I gently put folk on skylight. Laughing with the pdoc has helped - she made a witty remark, broke my tension

Grateful for your being here

Fleur,
Self-care can be challenging, having to show up everywhere by yourself. You are Worth your tender and compassionate care.

I know it's not 3-D, but Happy to hop in a pocket ride if you need.

I seem to remember hanging out on a skylight recently....

Hello there

Thank you for saying about being happy to ride in pocket. Giggled and smiled at your last line re sky light

Stayed dry today, even sat in sunshine at bus stop on return trip

So tired. Between pain, the cool night temperature, traffic, heavy rain and people / animal noise -- hard to get to sleep and stay that way for more than 2-4 hours. Have had what seems to be all night being awake, yet I feel like I've dreamt

Wishing you and Tula a special weekend

Hi Fleur,

So nice to hear that there was a bit of sunshine that you could enjoy.

Those kind of nights-bordering on sleep and dream state, my they can feel exhausting and confusing!
I really hope sleep starts improving for you. It’s great you have identified the sources that are interrupting your sleep but they are hard ones to change I would guess.

I hope you have a good night.

Couragetoday
