Supposed to have had CT scan but veins refused to co-operate. Ultrasound shows veins have literal bumps - probably from too many pokes - which normally will rectify itself. At least I now know that I was being reasonable and not inventing pain. Scan rescheduled for 24th, as a fortnight is generally long enough for veins to heal. Hmmmm. We'll see. It was suggested (excellent idea!) that we aim for iron infusion, if required , to be done same day to use same canula

Soxy is with Foo until Dr decides what, if anything, is going to happen. However, with scan delayed, I'll ask sister to deliver him when she can after he sees Vet - and I'll give her Christmas gifts to pass on, along with a parcel to welcome her baby granddaughter born 1st September

Despite having slept better, am still tired

pesky needles! not sure it would help, maybe you already know this one... Drinking enough water before blood draw/ infusion. Probably has nothing to do with bumps, though. Dang!

Sucks you will probably be so glad to see you! And you sucsy!

I think the holidays are tiring for many people.

Fingers crossed veins cooperate and tests can go as planned.

Thanks once again for messages.

There - smiled at dictated spelling of Soxy. I appreciate your thoughts re water. Was a four hour food fast with minimum of a litre water to be consumed. I had over two litres first day and about 1.5 litres drunk second when canula was to be inserted. Flushed beautifully when Dr finished, but not when nurse tried a bit later

Recover - have often wondered how you were. Guessed you were in low point. I even wished you and I could attend a therapeutic centre to have negativity resolved. For me, it is the immediacy of reliving flashbacks I'd like to change

Couragetoday - you'd know more than me about tests and procedures, I'm sure. Grateful for your being here
