Hey Reisha,

That course you described ‘open source wellness', Sounds really neat. Is it something you are really considering?
(If all these good vibes are floating around maybe I’ll take the plunge on trying to find a way to a support group I was looking at)

Dr.S Sounds pretty amazing. But I can’t tell if you feel that way?

When I read your joke the other day insinuating panic around about Having to honour bionic parts I burst out laughing.
I am nowhere near that as I have trouble even looking at x-rays, MRIs etc. that even show internal hardware.
Interesting how we are different? I can’t handle that, but can manage about 50 pokes trying to start an IV or get bloodwork before getting antsy.

I’m glad to see you around here more. It’s been nice. Thank you again for your support this weekend.

Here’s to a day with a bit of balance.

reisha,

All that medical stuff certainly sounds like a lot! I also tend to put stuff off and then get scolded for not "keeping up" on it. I haven't met many doctors who understand how tricky this stuff can be for some people, though I have heard that such doctors exist. Anyway, hoping for the best for you.

That "open source wellness" thing definitely sounds interesting. Seems like something a lot of people could get a lot out of.

Hope your putzing and lollygagging was relaxing and good.

Oh, courage, noname - thanks for such lovely 'mon morn' messages!! Makes the slop taste better.😆

Courage, yes, dr s is a wonderful dr, & im grateful to have found her.
& yep, im gonna check out the open source wellness t'marra - its separate from the wellness center (which is parta my mmed network). Im excited bout it, yet tryin to keep the *expections* at bay.
& yano me & there & everyone else is gonna (en) courage ya to 'get yer butt in gear' too😀 :o  :?

Noname, yeah ive got .... allotta med issues. Old age sux. Sure aint for sissies! Thankfully(?!), mosta em are ... stable, altho in large part its up to me to ... self care them.

Easy - i missed that last post from ya - is it ok if i occaisionally call ya 007, or secret agent man?😉🤣

Grr... theres a lil 'blip' in my 'good mood'. I just got 'food stamps' last month (see my PSA post in open forum, once i write it). They dinna come in this month. Ive been callin & callin, & after navigatin the f'd up auto system to get to a real person, 'due to high call volume, pls call back, g'bye'. ARRRRRRRGH!!! ÷*@&@&@&@&&!!*!*!((!!!!!! Dunno if everyone else is havin same prob w not gettin theirs too& thats why no one can get thru. & really dont wanna hafta go (dt) again for this crap. Esp not this particular office, which is as ickky as any inner city govt ofice that deals w .... low income, homeless, drug addicted clients. Ive never gotten outta there in less than 4 hrs, often longer. Its ALWAYS overcrowed, & if im rite bout the f'up w food stamps, then its gonna a 3 day campout, harumph!

Hope everyones a lil cooler today - this national heat wave is brutal. Im SOOOOOO glad i live by the bay & rarely hit 90's, lizard girl that i am - always cold ( no body fat) & lover of warm ( not hot!)

Hey Reisha,

Thanks for being willing to kick my butt in gear. (Gently I hope) I may take you up on that.

Oh boy do I hope that the food stamp issue resolves itself. It sounds like a long, energy sucking process.
When similarly themed things like that go wrong here, I have chosen to procrastinate following up when possible, as sometimes if I wait an extra week or two it works itself out. That’s always a bonus.
But Obviously essential things like food can’t be ignored for that long.
Here’s hoping it magically resolves itself overnight.( One can hope!)

Oh ick. Feeling you on that one. We had food stamps and Medicaid for a long time and it always seemed like the smallest problems took Soo ......dang....... long,...... to resolve. Fingers crossed you don't have to go down town again. Yuck.

I think. Today is supposed to be the peak of our heatwave here. The hottest today and then very very slow cool down. Nothing like going outside and feeling like you are standing in the path of a massive blow dryer. I did think it was funny, one of my friends lives in Minnesota and they were talking about their -56 in January and their 115+. In July. 170ish degree difference!!! Mother nature is having massive mood swings this year. Good gal. (*Quietly crossing out Minnesota as optional place to live .. ever)
