Controlling anxiety.

Post by Faea » Thu Mar 03, 2016 2:06 am

Recently I was reading an article about issues adult survivors of abuse face. I took it to my doctor and it completely turned around the way we are dealing with my anxiety. My anxiety has a direct effect on my stress and in turn my blood pressure. I'm completely healthy in all aspects except with my blood pressure. Instead of trying to learn to deal with the anxiety like with positive thinking. We admitted that it's not something I can control, like depression. Now that I am on steady meds that work with the antidepressants it's like the stress has just melted away. I'm dealing with the same issues as before in the same way, but am so much more at ease.
