Hi Everyone... Here is one more truth seeker who is not sure what has happen to her. But recently I realized, after many years of sufering that there is something to be discovered.

I came here to maybe find some courige, knowledge and compassiion within people who maybe have simillar experiences.

Hi all! I am brokenoak and although my counselor says I'm a strong survivor I feel more like what the opening post said. I am thinking I am stupid for trying to find any group that would accept me; crazy to think I have anything to complain about; scared that I will be hurt for telling any part of my story. So I will start with the easy stuff...I am a mom of two boys, wife of a great guy, and have been a nurse for twenty years. I have been actively trying to heal for over 10 years but some times I think the process will never end. Every time I feel stable another excruciating layer unfolds. I haven't slept the night through without flashbacks and nightmares for 11 years. That's the basics and I appreciate you all letting me join. Brokenoak
