Personal account security

Post by Jonesy »

Hi everyone

Just a reminder that it's important to change your password from time to time, to ensure your account is secure.

This is basic internet safety, especially if you allow saved passwords/ automatic login on your device and there is a chance that someone else (within your household) may have access to it.

Make today the day ;)

Ah, silly question time... could you remind a forgetful person how we do that? :) I can't seem to spot it anywhere.

Hi dancingfish,

Thanks for asking! Here are the steps to change your password:

While logged in, click your name in the top right corner of the screen.
Select "User Control Panel" from the drop-down menu.
Select the "Profile" tab at the top of the screen.
Select "Edit account settings" from the menu on the left hand side of the screen.
Enter your new password, verify the new password, enter your old password, and hit "Submit".
And, viola - your password has been changed!
