Member Art Submissions & Comments

Post by Jonesy »

Hi everyone

Now that the art gallery is safely within our own website, I would encourage you to go and take a look at all the wonderful pieces in there. They are categorized under our member artwork, photographic thoughts, pet pictures and collages.

This is a place where you can leave comments about what you see, ask questions of the artist or generate discussion.
New pieces will be listed here as they come in.

Please email me if;

* you would like the password
* you would like to submit any of your own pieces

1 new piece to Member Artwork from Just Me

Excerpts of the description by Just Me follows:
It is a DID quilt that I made for t and is meant to look like a shattered window that has been put back together. The quilt as a whole is meant to represent me. The center block that has the loose puzzle pieces is where I am at right now. Scattered everywhere. The center block with the sailing theme is the people along the way that provide me with direction, safety, and strength. Each piece that looks like broken glass represents different alters. The border is a completed puzzle. It represents where I want to be. After all the parts are put back together, I am complete, but the alters will remain a part of me. The meandering quilting means there is more than one path to putting it all together, but each piece must be gone over in order to become part of the whole person. Sometimes you have to go back over the same place more than once. There is not a straight path to healing, but if you just keep working at it, eventually you are a whole person again.
