I am making myself lots of hot cocoa and spending a lot of time playing with and talking to my cats. I have learned over the last little while that the more time I spend with them, the easier it is to stay calm when they get annoying and I'm able to stay calm and not yell near as much as I used to when I was first getting used to having 6 of them. And talking to them helps get stuff off my chest. They are really helpful listeners :)

It's funny. I like dogs, but I prefer cats. I appreciate their seriousness, and the fact that their companionship must be earned.
