there,
You made me laugh out loud. Just display it obviously/discreetly based on if the person is being stupid or not.
Hoping those people will stay in their own world of negativity for a while.

Have a good week :)

ws, Laughter-the natural pain killer!

One new thing I do that's helping with the everyday stuff from others is what I tell myself. My mind will replay the rude comment, etc. When I start thinking about what "they" said or did, I add this thought: "Everything is energy."

It kinda cues a release, to a more spacious reality, which is always here. And I can see the image of the person overlaid with energy that dissolves the scene. It's really refreshing.

have some more to tell about vocational rehab session and assignments from it---later. It's a holiday!

Thank you for reading.

Great idea, there!
Sometimes I imagine the scene of the most recent emerged memory and send a bullet of light into the center of it. Then it explodes and dissolves the image into millions of points of light.
Sounds like we're sorta on the same energy plane. :)

I'll keep reading. It's more like I'm listening to an old radio show on my grandma's stereo, though. Full of detail and interesting.

hi, reisha! :D
Really glad to see your post here and on your thread.
However others are towards me, I'm in a strong place of working to be fair to myself. Progressing, not perfecting?!

Keeping as creative as possible. Taking breaks. Giving my mind free space to not always think.

Feeling a little sad atm, and not going to try to reason why, just feel through it.

wolfspirit,
sorry, seems I overlooked a response to you!
Wow, truly same energy plane :o 8-)

Old radio show...like public radio, maybe?

Practicing/playing piano tonight felt good.

Soon in a post I plan to share what progress or positive changes I notice in my life since starting this healing journey thread.

Noname, hi! great to see you! thanks for stopping by. :)

Am starting my 1st informational interview assignment for vocational rehab.

I have met this chair yoga teacher and asked her for an interview. She agreed and I will see her at 3pm.

Changing finances having been on fixed income for a long time----scawey, very scawey at moments. Like now.

Breathing. Going to think of questions.

Hmm.
How long have you been teaching chair yoga?
What led you to teach chair yoga?
Do you teach at many locations?
Any ideas or guidance for someone starting out?

If you ever needed a substitute here, I'm available.

Yep, like old radio shows. So entertaining. 🙂
I like the questions!
I’m sure you’re pretty excited for the first interview.

ws,
Maybe I'll get into podcasting ;)

The interview was mixed. R, the yoga teacher was lovely. While I was asking my questions, I noticed another woman sitting in the room. She introduced herself as S, and said that she'd been a yoga studio owner in a different state. (A liquid or gas yogini?) She made a snap judgment about me, and what would be right for me to do ...and that I should do further training. Where I want to teach, I know, I don't need more training.

I'm not finished, but will say more about the brief interview later.

I want to bring up something that's happened a couple times on here. I asked Jonesy about it. She said it was ok to write about in my thread.

I have felt really hurt when I respond on somebody's thread and they never acknowledge my post. They respond immediately to another person who posted, but mine has been ignored, missed, whatever. I know I'm not the only one because I've been told.
