Typhoon Mangkhut

Post by Fleur »

The Pacific region of Hong Kong, Philippines and surrounding areas have an even bigger storm about to hit than is Hurricane Florence. More than forty million people will be affected over this weekend and into next week -- with clean up and restoration likely to take many months. If you live or have loved ones who are in these countries, may you/they be safely evacuated

Just found out a friend's family have had death, mayhem, losses of livestock, property. I know, only one out of all the myriad who were affected. Brought home how life can suddenly change from being more or less okay to requiring a lot of assistance.

Pondered if this were true, then so could be the reverse - we survivors can hold onto hope that our life will be brighter, more positive, with fewer negatives relating to our past.

With care,
Xanthia
