dkangel! It's great to see your name
I'm going to sit over here on the floor and then put my legs up the wall for some restorative yoga. Ah! Refreshing...

Hello MarianneOrange, dkangel, there, Xanthia, anyone else ....
Echoing there - how delightful to see you dkangel - enjoying your cosy beanbag and blankets
MarianneOrange, you ask about what we're reading - I borrowed 2 library books last week, but haven't done more than read the back covers - radical beauty and what claims to be the most up to date thinking on Alzheimer's disorder
Made cool lemonade , chocolate milk plus chocolate chip GF biscuits/cookies also lemon flavoured wafers (have many lemons ATM, smile) - plenty to share
Lovely to relax amongst friends, both long standing and brand new
Cheers

Hi Dkangel, There, fleur and all!!
*Takes sip of lemonade and nibbles on a wafer.*
I haven't sat in a beanbag chair since the mid- eighties...
*mentally adds to to do list and feels nostalgic.*
*warm breeze blows with the scent of Jasmine from the garden*
Alzheimer's.... Whew... There's a sobering thought...
*smiles at everyone just happily content to be here*

My mother has Alzheimer's, whilst Dad has "ordinary" dementia, so it is close to home

I am so sorry. My grandmother had dementia when she passed. I also used to work with Alzheimer's patients when I was a nurse. I was the hardest job I ever had. I didn't last long. In fact, I would say it only added to my C-PTSD. You get attached and then when they pass, it really hurts. *offers hugs*

Thank you very much for hugs MarianneOrange - you probably appreciate more than I do about brain disorders
Can imagine nursing people who have Alzheimer's being difficult - Mum is still very much aware of her "funny brain" causing difficulties. Her abilities change from time to time
Much caring

Lovely to see you Diver.
May we offer you refreshments, a place to sit or walk?
With care,

Welcome Diver! Dive in! The water's fine, so to speak! Say.... Didn't I see a natural spring when I walked through the garden? This place is so beautiful.
Fleur,
If you ever want to talk about it, let me know. I can meet you in chat or we can start a thread or something. However that works. (Still new here)
